Slovenia Pelton Wheel Display
This Pelton Water Wheel Display is located at a rest area in near Kranjska Gora, Slovenia.
Near the Itialian/Austrian border. It served in the Rolling Mill of the Jesenice Iron Foundry, from 1902 to 1986.
It was manufactured by the GANZ Company in Budapest in 1899, it is the largest wheel that GANZ has ever built.
It has 56 buckets, is 29 feet in diameter, turned at 70 RPM, made 1500 Horse Power with 1049 feet of water head.
